Music takes over the very focus of your soul, directs you in a way that you body can't control. Its euphoric and ethereal. Its lightens and and lifts and sinks and penetrates. Music is amazing.

Chuck the World Traveller Part I

You know you find the title dead sexy!

That’s right ladies and gentlemen, Chucky Baby has been abroad (not as in drag but as in away.) However, during the cruise there was a drag moment, let’s not lie. So Yes, I went on a cruise to Cozumel, Mexico, and Belize City Belize. The ship was the Navigator of the Seas by Royal Caribbean International. I had the world’s greatest time. Ricky Matthews was the Cruise Director and he made every attempt possibly to show me the perfect time. I was on cloud nine the entire time, the wine bar Vintages had an amazing set of wine tastings, the Champagne Bar had some amazing selection and we even had a glass of Louis XIII Cognac. The bars, lounges, and clubs were unbelievable, spinning great music, hosting great activities like music trivia and name that tune games. I think it’s impossible to think of a bad moment I had on this cruise………. OH WAIT!!!!!!!!!! I remember Belize City! I have never been more afraid in all my life. The nice part of town was like the worst part of Detroit. The poverty was so saddening, and the drug dealers were aplenty. The tour guide, who was a local and not in any way licensed, (Our choice not way affiliated with the cruise, they actually suggested we not leave the “tourist village”) even told us that before the “election” of the current president of Belize (which I as a gay, cynic, completely incompetent and ignorant political person took to mean Coup de ta ) said that he used to work as a security agent for the former prime minister. (CAN YOU SMELL THE FEAR???? Went from Government Official to taxi driver/tour guide.) So Yea we spent about 1.5 hours in Belize total. In fact I took more pictures of nearly naked gays sunning themselves in Fort Lauderdale (in the hour that I was on the beach than I did in the time I was tendered off shore and onshore in Belize; maybe it’s because the mens were sexy and Belize was dirty.
